We make all of our candles and wax melts with all-natural soy wax produced from American-grown soybeans.
All of our candles contain a flat braided cotton wick with paper threads woven into the cotton. The reinforced construction gives the wick a rigid structure and is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads. Our wicks are also lead and zinc free.
Each candle has a fragrance load of 8% and each wax melt clamshell has a fragrance load of 10%. The hot throw will depend on exactly how dense the scent is.

These spots are caused by shrinkage and air bubbles that occur as the wax is cooling. Part of the wax pulls away from the glassware and sticks to the container giving it this particular look. We try our best to limit wet spots but be advised that this is common and in no way will affect the burnability of your candle.
If the wax is not allowed to melt to the edge, a memory ring can form and make the candle tunnel for all future burns. This will cause a drastic decrease of burn time and fragrance throw for the life of your candle. Therefore, upon lighting for the first time, make sure you let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt and make its way around the container.
Trim your wick to 1/4" long every time you light your candle. Be cautious and never burn your candle in an unattended area. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Candle jar will get hot so please be careful when touching. Keep away from children, animals, and items that can catch fire.
If the candle is burned correctly, the burn time can range from 40-45 hours. For safety measures, please remember to only burn the candle four hours at a time. Wax melts can burn up to 30 hours.
This is caused when the hot wax in the melt pool cools and solidifies at an inconsistent rate. It is completely normal and simply just a feature of 100% all-natural soy wax. It will not affect the future performance of your candle.
Frosting is actually a unique and natural effect of using vegetable waxes, especially soy wax. During the cooling process, the wax sometimes tries to return back to its natural form and as a result it begins to crystallize. This, however, will not affect the performance of the wax melt in any way.
